The VELLORA Method is a two day, hands on training in advanced buccal and facial sculpting massage, built on real anatomy, not just movement. You'll learn the fascia, the muscles of mastication, the lymphatic system, and how the nervous system responds to touch, alongside the intra-oral technique itself. What You'll Learn
Day One covers the full theory foundation, facial anatomy, the muscles of mastication, fascia, and the lymphatic system, along with nervous system regulation and contraindications. Meet Bailey
Bailey has eighteen years of experience as a therapist and educator, and has spent the last several years refining the VELLORA Method into a technique that blends clinical anatomy with genuine presence. She's trained close to one hundred therapists across Australia and New Zealand, and built her own studio, Rejuvenation Gypsy, from a solo practice into a multi therapist clinic using these exact skills.
Frequently Askes Questions
Do I need a massage or beauty therapy qualification to attend?
No prior massage or beauty therapy background is required. A background in bodywork is a bonus, but this course has been taught successfully to complete beginners. What matters most is a willingness to learn hands-on technique and an interest in holistic client care.
Is buccal massage safe for all clients?
No. Certain conditions, including recent dental work, active oral infections, TMJ disorders in acute flare, and pregnancy in some cases, require modification or contraindicate the technique altogether. Contraindications are covered in full during the course.
Will I be practicing on a real person during the training?
Yes. The course includes supervised hands-on practice so you leave with genuine technique confidence, not just theory.
What certification do I receive?
You'll receive a certificate of completion in The Vellora Method's buccal massage technique, which you can use to promote the service in your own practice.
Can I start offering buccal massage in my studio straight after the course?
Yes, once you feel confident in the technique. Many practitioners begin offering it within the first week of returning to their space.
How long does a buccal treatment take in practice?
This varies depending on how you structure it within your own treatment menu. In the course, we cover how to position buccal work as a standalone service or as part of a longer ritual.
Is buccal massage evidence-based?
Some benefits, such as improved lymphatic drainage and jaw tension release, have supporting clinical literature. Other reported benefits are anecdotal and based on practitioner and client experience. This distinction is addressed directly in the training.
Do you offer ongoing support after the course?
Yes. Once you've completed the course, you have the option to purchase a three month mentorship with me. This gives you continued guidance as you build confidence, refine your technique, and start integrating buccal massage into your own practice.

VELLORA Workshops: Questions and Answers
Who is this workshop for?
Massage therapists, beauty therapists, facialists, bodywork practitioners and anyone drawn to deepen their understanding of the face, not simply add another sequence.
Do I need previous experience?
No experience is needed, although a background in massage or skin work is helpful. Practitioners who have trained elsewhere are also welcome. The focus is on the why behind every movement and how to read the body in front of you.
What does the workshop cover?
Two days of facial massage and buccal technique, taught as a full structural sequence grounded in anatomy and nervous system science. Reiki attunement is offered separately.
What is included?
A workbook, a full kit, anatomy flash cards and gloves.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, a certificate of completion is issued to those who attend the full workshop.
Can I get insurance to practise buccal massage after this course?
Insurance requirements vary between providers, and intraoral work is not covered by every policy. Please check with your insurer before booking.
How many people are in each workshop?
A maximum of six, so every attendee receives close, individual guidance.
How is the workshop taught?
You will watch a full demonstration, receive the treatment twice so you understand it from the client's side, and practise hands on four times.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothing and a water bottle. Please arrive with short nails and no makeup.
Is buccal massage safe?
Buccal work involves intraoral contact, so hygiene, consent and contraindications are covered in detail. Please do not attend if you are unwell.
Where are upcoming workshops?
Brisbane in October and Adelaide on 26 and 27 November.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are not refundable. Full terms, including refunds, transfers and illness, are outlined in our workshop policy [link].

Bailey Womack, founder of The Vellora Method, with 18 years of experience as a bodywork practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher and yoga teacher.
VELLORA Workshop Refund, Transfer and No Show Policy
Booking and payment
Your place is confirmed once payment or deposit is received. Places are limited to preserve the quality of hands on guidance, so each booking holds a seat that cannot be offered to anyone else.
Due to the nature of workshops and the advance planning required, the following cancellation terms apply:
• Deposits are not refundable.
• If you have paid in full, you may receive a 90% refund if you cancel more than 60 days before the workshop.
• If you cancel between 15 and 60 days before the workshop, a 50% refund will be provided.
• Within 14 days of the workshop date, payments are not refundable.
If you are unable to attend, your ticket may be transferred to another practitioner, allowing someone else to take your place. Or if it’s an emergency then we can discuss moving you to the next workshop.
No shows
If you do not attend without notice, your place is forfeited and no refund, credit or transfer is offered.
Late arrival and partial attendance
Workshops begin promptly. If you arrive late or leave early, no partial refund applies. Certification is only issued on completion of the full program you booked.
Illness or emergency
We understand life happens. If you cannot attend due to illness or an emergency, contact us before the workshop begins and we will offer a credit toward a future date. Please do not attend if you are unwell, as the work involves close and intraoral contact.
Missed days
If you are unable to attend one day of a two day workshop, no partial refund applies. The missed day may be credited toward a future workshop at our discretion. Reiki attunement is a separate offering and follows the same terms.
Cancellations by VELLORA
If we need to cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to another date, your choice. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs, so we recommend booking flexible travel.
